After a week of sailing we have arrived in San Francisco and the Bay Area. Having been up to 50 miles offshore, there was no internet access for to post on the blog. From our first week in the boat I do have some pages of a general log with dates and times scribbled as well as a gang of photos from which I will try to paint a picture as to just what in the world its like out there.
What I can say for myself and for the others onboard, but especially for myself, is that being away from Seattle and home and the community and friends and everybody there, and really everybody I've ever known, makes everyone and everything all become very dear to me.
Just for a glimpse. Just a moment.
The world becomes that mysterious place I remember from my childhood. The world becomes smaller. Foreign lands are of a sudden very accessible. Life becomes a dream and I want to express in the most sincere way what gets left out in everyday busy life, that it is all so dear to me.
So to follow is some scribbled ships log notes and photos.
Love you all.
Tyler
